Survivors:
Elizabeth Darbee is survived by her husband, Hal; her son, Eric Reynal; her grandchildren William, Carmen Luz and Michael Reynal; and her great-grandchildren Lucy, Henry and George Reynal.
Elizabeth Young Darbee moved to Sarasota from Hartford, Conn., over 30 years ago and into Plymouth Harbor in 1991.
She studied painting with Jerry Farnsworth and Helen Sawyer and won several prizes. She was president of the Sarasota Art Association and was the first woman to serve in the vestry of Saint Boniface. She was the local president of the National Association of Pen Women. Memorial donations may be made to Church of the Redeemer Episcopal in Sarasota.
