Douglas Gilbert To Be Buried At Grand Island
South Sioux City, Neb. Dec 21. (AP)—Funeral services were held here today for Douglas Gilbert, 83, a resident of Nebraska more than half a century, who died Monday. Burial will be in Grand Island. A son and a daughter survive.
Douglass was born in Sweetland, Muscantine County, Iowa, and died at South Sioux City, Dakota Co., Nebraska at his daughter Bess's home. He was the son of Samuel & Mary Ann (Chinn) Gilbert.
