MRS. MATILDA DECKER
Mrs. Matilda Ann Decker, Oquawka, Ill., died Feb. 4 in St. Francis hospital, where she had been admitted two days before.
Mrs. Decker had been in failing health for ten years.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rummonds, Mrs. Decker was born May 27, 1876, and was married to George W. Decker, who died Feb. 26. 1948. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Surviving are four sons and four daughters: Leonard R. Decker, Chicago; Wayne and Richard Decker and Mrs. Emil Jern, all of Oquawka: Glenn Decker and Mrs. Willard Ryner, both of Burlington: Mrs. Asa Ricketts. Good Hope, Ill.. and Mrs. Willis Goempler. of Moline, Ill.
One daughter died previously.
Also surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Lee Doty, Beacon. Ia., and Mrs. Margaret Whitmore, Gladstone, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Turnbull funeral home, in Monmouth. Ill., where services will be Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Oquawka.
