Banks, Alma Hays, ~ age 97, of Pinetop, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Hazard ARMC. She was born in Pinetop on September 24, 1912, to Nelson Hays and Lucinda Smith Hays. She is survived by her children whom she loved: Denny, Monie, Wilma and Glenn, Bill and Linda, Kathy and Chris, Jerry and Joann and Janet (deceased); grandchildren: Nikkie and Jamie, Julee, Ryan, Asheley and Shannon; great grandchildren: Tayler, Maddison, Noah and Gradan. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Edmon Bolen, Johnny Patrick and Milburn Slone officiating. Burial followed at the Steer Fork Cemetery at Pinetop under the direction of Hindman Funeral Services.
