Died – At her home in Dundas, Calumet Co., Wednesday, Sept. 27th, at the age of 77 years, Margaret Beach, widow of the late Elias Beach. Mrs. Beach was one of the oldest residents in this part of the state, having lived at Dundas since the year 1849. Being of a loving disposition and the best of mothers, she not only endeared herself to her family, but to all who knew her. She was born in Sparta, Sussex Co., N.Y., where she resided until 1848, when, with her husband and family moved to Green Bay and the next year they came to live at their present home where she continued to resided until her death. The deceased was the mother of a large family of children, nearly all of whom are yet living, three of them residing at the old homestead. The cause of her death was a cancer, which seems began its fatal work about two years since, and which caused her a great deal of suffering during the last few months of her life.
