In Hartsville, N. Y., Nov. 12th, 1875, Robert Hemphill, Esq., in the 80th year of his age. Mr. Hemphill had for some eight years suffered from palsy, which affliction he bore with Christian patience and fortitude. He was a lover of the Saviour, and maintained membership in the Baptist Church, of Hartsville, while it continued its visibility and kept its records. He was a man of integrity and sound judgment, and served his townsmen for a number of years as a Justice of the Peace."
