James Edmond Berigan -- known as Ed -- was born on March 23, 1893 in Rochester, NY. He was the 3rd of 7 children of John and Margaret Agnes. He had siblings Florence, Lillian, Adella, Elizabeth, William & Therese.
Ed served in the Army QMC 8th Co. during World War 1 and was a mail carrier for the U.S. Government. He was also a clerk for the Clark Controller Co.
Ed was 30 when he married Margaret "Daisy" Josephine Duesler on Aug. 30, 1923 at St. Rose's Church in Cleveland, Ohio. They had two children listed above.
He & Daisy had been living at 6902 Theota Ave. in Parma for two years when he died there on Nov. 5, 1957 at the age 64y 7m from stomach cancer which he had for almost three years. Ed is buried in Sec. 82, Lot 118 at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
