Forrest Elma Wright, 92, of Bloomington passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at her residence. Born June 7, 1920 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Edward and Edna (McNeely) Crum. Forrest was a housekeeper Eigenmann Hall Dormitory for several years. She was a member of the Lake Monroe Church of Christ. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and playing her guitar. She played lead guitar for a band named The Varieties.

Survivors include three sons, Terry L. Wright Sr. (Rosalee) of Springville, Kenny Wright of Harrodsburg, Kirby Wright of Bloomington, one granddaughter, Debbie Hostetler (Don Hobbs) of Judah, one grandson, Terry L. Wright Jr. (Beth) of Bedford, four great grandchildren, Amber Porter, Cole Wright, Cailen Wright, Delanie Wright, one great-great granddaughter, Tracey Porter and several nieces and nephews.

Forrest was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Otis E. Wright (March 11, 1974), one sister, Phyllis McPike, three brothers, Clayton, Festus and Edward Crum Jr.

Services will be 2:00pm Monday, November 26, 2012 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington. Nephew Bernie Crum will officiate. Visitation will be 2-6pm Sunday and 1-2pm Monday at The Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Clover Hill Cemetery.
