Henry and his father, an immigrant from Germany, moved to Crawford County, PA in 1800. Henry was a farmer and shoe-maker.

War of 1812 Veteran. 133 Regt PA Mil.

Husband of Mary Rogers (1778-1834). Mary was first married to Robert McCoy and they had 4 children. Only one child, William R. McCoy (b. 8/31/1803), survived. Henry was Mary's second husband and together they had 5 children.

Father of George R. Cook (1809-1886).
