Julia Mae Waddell Biggerstaff Poole, 91, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, March 25, 2018, at White Oak Estates-Spartanburg. Born March 26, 1926, in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ambers Bruce Waddell and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Reynolds Waddell. She was the widow of her first husband, Walter Biggerstaff and second husband, Clyde Poole. She was a member of Thompson Chapel Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, Gail Biggerstaff Johnson, Wesley H. Biggerstaff (Jean), and Rita Biggerstaff Wood (Richard), all of Spartanburg, SC; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and former son-in-law, Michael Loving of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Patsy Biggerstaff Loving; son-in-law, Don Johnson; and 9 brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 27, 2018, in Thompson Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, by The Rev. David Sellars
