Wesley Howard Biggerstaff, 74, of Spartanburg died Saturday, March 6, 2021. He was born May 25, 1946 in Spartanburg County, to the late Walter and Julia Waddell Biggerstaff. Mr. Biggerstaff was an Air Force veteran serving as an Air Policeman at Dyess Air Force base in Abilene, TX for four years. He was a member of Thompson Chapel Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of fifty-two years, Marva Jean Dudensing Biggerstaff; one daughter, Renee McGraw; two sisters, Gail Johnson and Rita Wood; three grandchildren, Sheena Ferguson, Cody Ferguson and Hope McGraw; one step-daughter, Tammy Foss; one great-granddaughter, Gracie Bastarache; and beloved pet cat, Tigger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Loving.
The family will receive friends at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 211 S. Main St., Clifton, SC 29324, Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Wayne Majors officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Thompson Chapel Community Cemetery.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Spartanburg County Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
