EDWARD D. WITTMER and AGNES SUPALLA were married at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain Sept. 30, 1914…Attendants were MARY SUPALLA (MRS. WALTER WEHR), CHRISTINE DRISH (MRS. PETER POHREN), and ANTHONY SUPALLA, who plan to be present for the Golden Wedding.

MR. and MRS. WITTMER operated a general merchandise store at Germanville for 44 years. After their retirement in 1958, moved to their present home at 1205 S. Sixth in Fairfield…A dinner for the immediate family will be held at noon Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Leggett Coffee Shop….Children: MRS. LAWRENCE (ETHEL) KESSEL, Coralville; ERNEST D., MRS. CHARLES (MABEL) FLINSPACH, MRS. FLORENCE DICKINSON, and MRS. JACK (JANET) HEMM, all of Fairfield; 14 grandchildren, all of whom plan to be present for the anniversary event, except a grandson, DOUG DICKINSON, who is serving in the Navy on the U. S. S. Ranger.
