Donna Marie Hinson Sturgis
Mrs. Donna Sturgis, 57, a resident of Troy, died Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM on Sunday afternoon at the White & Mahon Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery near Troy.
Visitation will be on Sunday at the funeral home from 1 PM until the hour of service.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wisdom, Jason Wisdom, Joey Hinson, Kris Ford, Carl Lattus and James Marvin Dunlap. She was born May 23, 1955 in Obion County, Tennessee to the late Buster Brown and Mildred Louise(Wisdom)Hinson. She was married to the late Logan Sturgis, he died in June 1994.
She was a former Walmart Associate and also attended the Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is also survived by one daughter, Leslie Farrar of the Mt. Pelia community near Martin, one son, Cory Jones of Union City. One sister, Kim Moore of Dyersburg, one brother, Danny Hinson of Union City, five grandchildren, Leah, Karley and Hayden Farras of the Mt. Pelia community near Martin, Jack Logan Jones and Sam James both of Union City.
