Hammers - Departed this life suddenly, Saturday, Decemer 23, 1922 at 10:00 p.m. at Maxville, Missouri. William Owen Hammers beloved husband of Mae Hammers (nee Poteet), dear son of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling LaChance, dear brother of Lawrence and Marvin Hammers and Robert L. La Chance in his 23rd year.
Remains will be conveyed to Union Station Monday, December 25, at 2 p.m. from the Collins Parlor , 1039 North Grand boulavard, St. Louis, Missouri, for shipment to Flat River, Mo., for interment.

There is no headstone for William. His grave is between David Hammors and Lizzie LaChance graves.
