Beckley, March 31 - Last Thursday, Mrs J Mary Hedrick, one of the oldest residents of Odd, passed away following an attack of lagrippe and complications incident to old age. Mrs Hedrick had attained the advanced age of 80 years and enjoyed the esteem and love of all who knew her. She was the widow of the late "Uncle" Perry Hedrick and leaves two sons, P H Hedrick, of Mayberry, and Marion, of Odd, and two daughters, Mrs Rosa Hatcher and Mrs Lina Walls of Odd, besides numerous other relatives in the county.
