A Sad Death
Mrs. Orin Huston, Jr. died Friday morning April 29, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orin Huston, Sr. The funeral was held at the same home, Monday, May 2. It was largely attended by many sorrowing relatives and friends.
Mrs. Huston leaves two little girls, the youngest only three months old.
The death of Mrs. Huston cast a gloom over the whole community. The casket was covered with beautiful carnations, lilies and roses. The pall bearers were her two brothers and four brothers-in-law .
Misses Emily and Hazel Jackson had charge of the music. Rev. Kruse officiated. Interment look place in the Flower Creek cemetery .
Deceased was born in Hesperia Mich., July 14, 1881. She came to Claybanks about 15 years ago with her parents. Nov. 17 1907 she was married at Grand Rapids to Orin E. Huston, Jr. after which they went to Cuba to live. They resided in Cuba two years and returned last fall to Claybanks.
Those from away were grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Balcom, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and sons, Mrs. Henry Hunt and Mrs. Lower of Hesperia, also Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hunter of Ravenna, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Mr. H.E. Hunt of Grand Rapids.
