Charles "Chuck" B. Clark Charles was born December 6, 1929 in Beach, N.D. He was a resident of Gig Harbor for twenty-nine years. He graduated from WSC (WSU) with a B.S. in Health Sciences. Charles retired from Pierce County Health Department in 1989. Charles had a great love of animals and gardening. And, he loved a good argument over issues of importance. This was demonstrated by going so far as to argue a view opposite his beliefs - if it would generate a good discussion of ideals.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jess Clark, mother, Coralee Redmond, brothers Major Richard D. Clark (TN), Lyle Clark (MN), and sisters Iva Rasmussen (CA), and Joy Geier (WA).

He leaves behind his loving wife of forty-one years, Dottie, sisters Loma Gilman (ND), Pansy Madsen (AZ), Betty Wheeler (MT), and brother J.D. (AZ), as well as numerous nieces and nephews - who will miss him dearly.

By his wishes, there will be no services. If you wish to remember Charles, you may make a donation to the Tacoma Humane Society or a charity of your choice. News Tribune, The (Tacoma, WA) November 6, 2008
