AUGUSTA, Ga. — Mrs. Erma Jones McCorkel, age 94, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012, in Augusta, Georgia. She lived most of her life in Bulloch County before moving to Augusta seven years ago. Mrs. McCorkel attended Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas McCorkel; and her daughter, Imogene McCorkel Laircey.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Laura Thompson and Lynda Rabon of Pensacola, Florida, and Victor Laircey of Augusta, Georgia; a son-in-law, Creighton Laircey of Augusta; and six great-grandchildren.
The graveside service and burial will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
