Freda F. Gilley
The funeral for Freda Harris Fulcher Gilley, 79, of Clearfield Road, Martinsville, who died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at her home, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home. Pastor Susan Adkins will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Roselawn Funeral Home, and other times at the home on Clearfield Road.
She was born in Floyd County on May 3, 1927, to James Soloman Harris Sr. and Mary Helms Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild.
She attended Clearview Gospel Mission and was self-employed as a landlady.
Surviving are two daughters, Gail Fulcher of the home and Blonnie Fulcher Gregory of Martinsville; one sister, Lillian Sowers of Vinton; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
