NAMPA — Services for Jocine May Wiebold, 42, Nampa, who died of natural causes Friday at home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Nampa United Presbyterian Church by the Rev. John W. Wallace of Nampa United Presbyterian Church and Atwell J. Parry, patriarch of the Nampa South Stake. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, under the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
She was born Jan. 27, 1938, in Seattle to Robert and Verona Sackmaster. She moved when young to Portland, where she was reared and educated. She graduated from Grant High School in Portland. She married Dan Wiebold on May 17, 1958, in Portland. They lived in Portland and Seattle for several years. They moved to Livonia, Mich., in 1973. They moved to Nampa in 1975. She was a member of the Nampa United Presbyterian Church, the task force committee of the Hospice Program, the Nampa Newcomers' Club, the Broadmore Country Club, president of Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary and co-president and founder of the local chapter of the Make-Today-Count Club.
Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Sharyn, a son, Dan, and her parents, all of Nampa; two brothers, Robert of Spokane, Wash., and Jerry of Lebanon, Ore.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Memorials may be made, to the Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary.
Friends may call at Alsip Funeral Chapel today from 5 to 9 p.m., Monday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Tuesday from 8 to 9 a.m.
