Otto Geoge Earp was born in Greeley Co., NE to William A. and Mary F. Wright Earp. Otto was the third of 12 children born to the Earps. Otto, along with five of the other older children accompanied his parents to Oklahoma Territory in 1892 riding in the back of a covered wagon. In 1910 Otto married Fannie E. Cummings. Otto was a farmer. Nine children were born to this union:Thelma Hickle, Paul Earp, Clema Rains, Marvin Earp, Ray Earp, Golda Peterson, Oba "Jack" Earp, Elsa Holton, and Otis Earp. Otto passed away in 1981 in Drumright, Creek Co., and was buried in Stroud, Lincoln Co., OK.
