Son of Sarah Everett Wade. Doctor of Divinity, Presbyterian Minister. Pg 321 of The Wade Genealogy book (1900) tells us about family number "1789. Everett Wade Bedinger, b. Sept. 8, 1830; m. (1) Sarah E. Lucas. June 1, 1852; m. (2) Anna M. Bilmyer, March 16, 1869; had ten children." [This line emanating from the third child does not tie into my Hedges/Cilley descendants search, from other branches.]

As to the first wife's issue, we learn that there were eight kids, from another online book: "The third child of B. F. Bedinger is Everett Wade Bedinger, D. D., a graduate of Yale, and in the class of '51. * * * . He first married Sally Eleanor Lucas, who died in July, 1867. She was a daughter of Hon. William Lucas and his wife, Virginia Bedinger, a daughter of Daniel Bedinger, Esq., of Bedford, near Shepherdstown, the brother of G. M. Bedinger. Consequently she was the second cousin of her husband. Their children were, first, Virginia, who was married to Rev. J. H. Moore, lived in Washington, Ky., and died childless; Rev. B. Franklin, who first married Miss Mattie Piatt, second Miss Mary Snow, has seven sons and one daughter, and lives at Hampden-Sidney, Va.; third, Rev. Wm. Lucas, married Mary Young, has one daughter and lives at West Appomattox, Va.; fourth, Everett Wade Bedinger, Jr., married Laura B. Brooke, has six daughters and lives at Anchorage, Ky. He is the author of Bedinger's Digest of West Virginia Supreme Court Reports, and has done much editorial work in West Virginia; fifth, George Michael, married first, Josephine Blandon, and second, Lucy Blandon, and lives at Adriance, Mich.; sixth, Daniel Lucas, for twelve years United States Pension examiner, now practising law in Louisville, Ky. He married Eleanor Campbell, now dead, and has one child, Josephine; eighth, Sarah Everett, a Presbyterian missionary at Monte Morales, Mexico." [p222-223, book, George Michael Bedinger, a Kentucky Pioneer, googlebooks]

Mar 2014- Bedinger Family Communication Received-
Thankfully I received some informative details from Nancy B. Wiblin, that seem to pertain to fagr # 96442796 Rev Benj Franklin Bedinger (1854/1938)-- but I will add them here as well, to help correct the source I cited above:

"The second wife of Benjamin F., son of Everett Wade was Mary Ella South, not Snow. Danske Dandridge's account was incorrect. I know because she was my grandmother. My father was their youngest son. Her birth surname was different, as she was an orphan. It's in my grandfather's Bible as McWright but in census records as McCreight, I believe. * * * . the Alford genealogy pictures are mine."
