Funeral services for Jerry Dale Steeley have been scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, November 19, 2012 at Hayhurst Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Burial will be 3:00 PM, at Timberidge Cemetery in Catoosa, Oklahoma under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.
Jerry Dale Steeley was born August 14, 1940 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma the son of Everett R. and Mildred Mae (Deathridge) Steeley. Jerry died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at his home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was 72 years of age.
Jerry was a 1958 graduate of Catoosa, Oklahoma High School. He was a welder and auto mechanic. He owned Jerry's Garage and last worked for Cooper Manufacturing, assembling cell towers. He was a fan of OU football and stock car racing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, square dancing and playing pitch. And he loved eating his Wheaties with half and half. He was a member of Thomas Community Church.
