the 1850 census Caleb was a farmer in Upper Merion Township in Montgomery Co. They had four children Caleb 1840, Anna Mary 1844, Eliza Jane 1845 and Emmor 1849. Also living with them was Joanna Patterson 1831 probably a relative on Dorothy's side. Marshall's mother's maiden name was Patterson.
