"William L. Dante, aged 79, formerly of East Worcester, died Thursday, March 30, in the Fairhaven Nursing Home, Unadilla, following an extended illness. Mr. Dante was born September 25, 1887, in East Worcester, the son of William E. and Lucy A. (Miller) Dante. He married Edna Jaycox on June 26, 1912, at East Worcester. For 38 years Mr. Dante was a telegrapher for the New York Central Railroad, retiring in 1959. He had spent approximately the past three years in Oneonta. Surviving are his wife; a son, William S. of Addison, Ill.; three grandchildren and several cousins ... Burial will be later in Lower Cemetery in East Worcester."
