Margaret Coile Sorrells, age 87, of Augusta, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012.
A native of Madison County, Mrs. Sorrells was the daughter of the late Phillip F. Coile and Maudie Booth Coile, and was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Sorrells; brothers, Cleveland Coile and Bassey Coile; and sister, Marietta Phillips. She was a nursing assistant in the newborn department at Medical College of Georgia for 12 years, and was a former member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her brother, Clayton Coile, of Augusta, a number of nieces and nephews, and a number of great-nieces and -nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, at Evergreen Memorial Park, with Kyle Guntharp officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity of one's choice.
