Shirley A. "Yaya" Graybill, 72, of Columbia, died Sunday at the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA after a sudden illness. She was the wife of Eugene E. Graybill with whom she would have celebrated 55 years of marriage this March 8th. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred Wile Sholly. A homemaker, Shirley retired from the Columbia High School cafeteria and had also worked at the Columbia Turkey Hill.

A member of the Salem United Church of Christ, she enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time at the family cabin in Potter County. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, to whom she was affectionately known as "Yaya."

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Deborah Vieira; Kelly Jean Graybill; Eugene E. "Pete" Graybill, II and his wife Tracy; Jodi Lynn wife of Daniel Lewis; all of Columbia; she also helped raise Michael Graybill; Jennifer Kilhefner; Lexi Raymond and Kelsi Raymond; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Jackie Odenwalt; Faye Griffith; Nancy Dunlap; brothers William Sholly and Leo Sholly. Her siblings, Arthur, Robert, Beatrice and Larry preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut St., Columbia, PA on Thursday at 12 Noon with the Rev. Elizabeth Nocheck, officiating. Interment in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday one hour prior to the service.
