Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning from the Huston Funeral Home, Caro, for James Alfred LaPratt, 48, of French Rd., Caro, who died suddenly Oct. 1 at the Fairgrove Medical Clinic. The Rev. John Kolevar officiated with burial In Almer Cemetery.
Mr. LaPratt was born In Caro on October 7, 1920, and lived in Tuscola County all his life. He was employed as a farm er and was a member of the County NFO. He married Anna Yens in Detroit on Feb. 8, 1944. She survives him. Also surviving Is one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mary) Butcher of Caro; one son, James Carl of Unionville; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bailey and Mrs. Victoria Putnam, both of Caro.
