Morris J. Ringenberg, 86, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Born in Brinsmade, ND, he was on the Board of Directors at Grabill Bank for 50 years and was the first Executive Officer, retiring in 2001. He was a retired Major in the Army during WWII, receiving a Purple Heart. He was a member of American Legion Post #409, Who's Who, Grabill Missionary Church, Charter member & Past President of Cedar Creek Lions Club and National President of Investment Foundation for Missionary churches. In 1946, he married Margaret Jane "Maggie Ray" Ray, whom he met while they were on war service.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Margaret J. of Leo-Cedarville; daughter, Marsha J. Wright; son, Michael J. of Leo-Cedarville; two sisters, Lois Laymon of Fort Wayne and Faythe Rohrs of Elkhart, IN; brother, Jesse M. of Fort Wayne and five grandchildren.

Services 1pm Saturday with calling one hour prior at Grabill Missionary Church, 13637 State Street. Calling also 2 to 8pm Friday at the church.

Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road.

Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.
