Tacoma, Wash. -- A former Hays man Adolph (Shorty) Pfannenstiel, Tacoma, Wash., died Monday at a Tacoma hospital. He was 57. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in Tacoma.

Survivors include his wife, Anna; two sons, Don, and Mike, both at home; two daughters, Shirley, at home; a married daughter, Elaine; five brothers, Joe, Topeka, Mike, Golt, Calif., Julius, Bellingham, Wash., Romold, and Herman, both of Commerce City, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Younger, St., and Mrs. Jacob Dinkel, both of Hays. Mrs. Nick Kreutzer, Denver.
