FLOYDADA — Services for Doris Huckabee, 89, of Floydada will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Floydada with Michael Holster officiating.
Burial will be in Floydada Cemetery under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Floydada.
She died Wednesday, June 6, 2001.
She was born Aug. 17, 1911, in Chaves County, N.M. She graduated from Floydada High School and was a member of First Baptist Church. She married Burl Huckabee on Oct. 31, 1929, in Floydada. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1999. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth of Norman, Okla.; three daughters, Margaret Teague of Portland, Ore., Juanita Chappell of Floydada and Burldene Templeton of Santa Fe, Texas; one sister, Inez Crosthwait of Lubbock; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
