She was the retired activity director at Burnsides Nursing Home at Marshall.
Surviving are her husband, Gene A. Bohn; two daughters and their spouses, Alissa and Steve Welch of Shelbyville, Ill., and Janell and Chuck Castle of Toledo, Ill.; a grandson and his spouse, Eric and Heather Welch of Bloomington, Ind.; a granddaughter, Kristen Welch of Shelbyville; great-grandchildren, Ben Welch and Jack Welch; and a sister, Wanda Kuehner of Marshall, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church, rural Marshall and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marshall. She was a member of the Burnsides Guild and was a 1952 graduate of Marshall High School.
Services in honor of her life will be 1 p.m. CST Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Pearce Funeral Home, 314 S. 6th St., in Marshall, with the Revs. Karen Olm-Stoelting and David Deal officiating. Burial will be in Dunlap Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday and prior to services Monday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Camp New Hope of Mattoon, Ill., Emmanuel United Methodist Church or to the Marshall Schools Foundation.
