The 1900 census states she was born July 1862 in Michigan, parents born Ohio, had been married four years, was the mother of two children, both living, and lived at 110 South 13th street in Omaha with her husband, daughters Martha and Emma (both born July 1880 in Iowa), and eight lodgers.
In 1910 she was 47 years old, born Michigan, and lived at 4002 Seward street in Omaha with her husband William H. Tenne [sic] (52, born Germany, immigrated 1870, occupation butcher), and daughters Mattie and Emma Tulburt (both 24, born Iowa, millinery trimmers).
According to her burial card she died June 6, 1913, age 51 years, and was buried June 12.

A large dancing party was given on Christmas eve when over fifty guests were present.
