Born March 19, 1925, in Wittenburg, WI, to Ladd and Helen (Cotter) Siewert. After Helen's death, Elaine was raised by her loving stepmother, Ruth. Elaine was the beloved wife of Magnus R. Gerszewski, whom she married in 1946. They were married 64 years until Magnus passed away in 2010. She was the loving mother of five sons, three of whom survive. Her children are Richard (deceased (wife Donna), Thomas (deceased) (wife Dawn) of Crystal Lake, IL, Charles (wife Mary) of Wauwatosa, Mark (wife Pat) of Sarasota FL and John (wife Jessie) of Mazomanie and eight grandchildren (Jennifer, Tracy, Joe (deceased), John, Laura, Ben, Rose and Tom). Elaine was the devoted sister of Ralph (Bud), Collette, Margie and Doris.
After her children were grown Elaine worked at JC Penney and Sears.
Visitation Thursday, May 24, from 10:00AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM, at Alexian Village Chapel, 9301 N.
76th Street, Milwaukee, WI. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Mequon.
