Elaine Dunn Schooley, a 50 year resident of Village, Okla., was born in Rogersville, Mo..
Dec. 19, 1929, and went home to be with the Lord after a short illness on Dec. 24, 2001. She was a devoted mother of four and a devoted wife of Wayne for 52 years. Anyone who knew her was struck by her sweet spirit, kindness, and servant's heart. She always saw the best in everybody and everything. Besides enjoying her family, she found great pleasure by participating in her two church homes, Village Christian Church and Greater Cleaves Memorial C.M.E. She was a charter member of Village Christian since 1952. She was an associate member of Greater Cleaves for over 30 years where she had many friends. She participated in numerous ecumenical efforts, was a member of the Friendship Force of Oklahoma, and engaged in many other efforts that helped others.
In addition to her husband Wayne, she is survived by four children, Anne Dempsey and husband Dennis, Austin, Texas, Keith Schooley, Enid, Okla., Brent Schooley, Oklahoma City, and Jill Ebaugh and husband David, Richardson, Iex-as: seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Tyler, Tara, Emily, Meredith, Whitney and Mark; two sisters and two brothers and numerous other relatives.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday Dec. 28,
YIlloge Christian Church, Oklahoma City, Okla. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m.
, Saturday Dec. 29, 2001, in White Oak Cemetery, Rogersville, Mo. In lieu of flowers, dong-fons may be made to the. VIllage Christian Church memorial fund.
