Graveside services were held in Burns Cemetery, Monday, August 3, for Maxie Hull, 82, of Ontario who died Thursday, July 30.
The Reverend John Leffler officiated.
Mr. Hull was born November 6, 1915, to John M. Hull and Luella Pope in Bryce, Texas, where he was educated until the seventh grade. Mr. Hull lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming, while he was in the service. He retired from Baker City and moved to Burns in October 1976 due to his wife's health.
In 1938 Mr. Hull married Elnora in Longmont, Colorado. They were married for 43 years. Mr. Hull moved to Ontario to live in the Pioneer Care Center in 1987.
Mr. Hull loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed reading Western books and venturing into the forest to cut wood.
Mr. Hull is survived by his two sons, Max Hull and David Hull, both of Ontario; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hull was preceded in death by his wife, one son, and one grandson.
