A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am. Saturday at St Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano for Benesia Gaspard Lefort, 93, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off who died at 5:30 p.m. March 18, 1998.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. until funeral time at the church.
Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.
She was the mother of Norman, Andrew Jr., Rudy and Doris Lefort, Laura Mae Guidry, Lorraine Pierce, Audrey Burkett and Mae Ann Danos.
She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
