Charlotte Farmer McNeil, 82, died at her home near Hebbertsburg Saturday at
11 p.m. Funeral services were held in the home with burial at the family
cemetery Monday, March 6 at 12 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Sanders McNeil; 1 daughter, Mrs Ruth Price;
1 son, E C; 1 brother, J C Farmer; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Mrs Maude Kindrick, preceded her in death 15 years ago.
She had been a hard working woman all her life until 3 years ago when a
stroke of paralysis left her unable to walk or work for 8 months.
She then began to improve and resume her usual duties. The past 2 years she
worked in her garden, did her own washing, ironing and housework. Last week
on Tuesday she had another stroke, which caused her death.
