ALONZO ADKINS, 43, of West Hamlin, Route 1, Lincoln County, died Friday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Adkins of West Hamlin Rt. 1, as the result of injuries he received in an automobile accident on Dec. 24.
He was an employee of Lloyd Jackson Drilling Co. of Hamlin. Also surviving are one brother, Lemmie of West Hamlin Rt. 1; two sisters, Miss Glada Adkins and Mrs. Glenna Adkins of West Hamlin Rt 1; and the paternal grandfather, Lafe Adkins of West Hamlin Rt. 1. Services will be held at 10:30 am. Sunday in Koontz Funeral Home in Hamlin with the Rev Roy Withrow and Rev Elijah Adkins officiating.
