Edith L. Richards, 85, of Valley St., Salem, WV departed this life on Monday, August 16, 2004.
She was born January 2, 1919, a daughter of the late Arch and Anna Main.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aundrel E. "Slick" Richards. Whom she married Jan 5, 1935 Harrison County, WV.
Mrs. Richards is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Chipps and husband Dick, Smithburg, WV; one son and daughter-in-law, James K. Richards and wife, AnnaBelle, Salem, WV; eight grandchildren, Michael and Scott Lykens, Steven Chipps, Pamela Stout, Daniel Lee Richards, Marty Sue Thomas, James Keith Richards II and Joshua Paul Richards; two step-grandsons, Kent and Vance Price; 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Lykens.
Mrs. Richards operated the Richards' Tourist Home on Rt. 50 West, Salem, WV for many years. She loved her family and cherished being a homemaker, where she enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds. She was a very active member of the Bible Church of God, Wilsonburg, WV.
Interment will follow in the K of P Memorial Park, Salem, WV.
