Mars Hill - Hubert C Rideout, 50, died at a Presque Isle hospital Nov 20, 1978. He was born in Greenville, Jan. 24, 1928, the son of Earl and Della (Nye) Rideout. He served with the U S Army during World War II. He attended the East Ridge Union Church of Mars Hill. He is survived by his wife, Hazel (Bell) Rideout of Mars Hill; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Wanda) Church of Loring Air Force Base; a son, Danny Rideout of Mars Hill; three brothers, Arroll Rideout of Blaine, Millard Rideout of Michigan, Cecil Rideout of Massachusetts; two half-brothers, Thomas Rideout of Houlton, and Joseph Rideout of Presque Isle; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Rosalie) Craig and Mrs Donald (Elva) Wilson, both of Mars Hill; a half-sister, Mrs. Charles (Bernice) Giggey of Westfield; four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Duncan Funeral Home 7-9 p. m. Wednesday. Services will be held at the Funeral Home Thursday at 1 p. m. with Rev. H. O. McGeorge and Rev. Bernard Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Kings Grove Cemetery.
