Larence grew up in the Friendship and Blair areas before marrying Nita Jean Thomas on February 29, 1948 in Altus, Oklahoma. She passed away on June 17, 2009.
He was a Baptist. He was a carpenter for a living and enjoyed crafts and fixing things.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nita Jean, and a sister, Lela Brunker.
Survivors include two sons; Phil Anderson and wife Joy of Walters, Oklahoma and Steven J. Anderson and wife Gina of Blair, Oklahoma; a brother Donald Anderson; five grandchildren; Eight great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. at the Blair Cemetery, Blair, Jackson County, Oklahoma on Thursday, October 18, 2012 under direction of People's Cooperative Funeral Home, Lone Wolf, Oklahoma.
