George B. Steiner, a retired farmer died at his home on Saturday, August 23. The funeral rites will be conducted on Friday, August 29, at the St. Joseph's church at 10 a.m. with Msgr. George Aberle officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's cemetery.
He was born in Russia on October 25, 1886, the son of Bernhardt and Katherina Steiner. He was married to Frances Wandler in 1909 after coming to the United States in 1900.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Anton, Richardton; and Jack, Glendive; and nine daughters, Mrs. Frank Osaben, Ehly, Minn.; Mrs. James Manly, Glendive; Mrs. George Staudinger, Glendive; Mrs. Peter Kuntz, Mott; Mrs. Arnold Graff, Valley City; Sister Frances, Bismarck; Sister Perpetua, Garrison; Miss Rose Steiner, Glendive, and Frances at home. One son died in infancy.
The Mischel Funeral home will have charge of arrangements.
