Dave Bailey was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Mary Bailey and one nephew, Jimmy Yarbrough. He is survived by his partner, Gary and his 3 sisters; Janet Yarbrough, Marjorie Hepple and Susan Raby along with 5 nieces and nephews.
Dave was born on a small farm just South of Estancia, New Mexico but moved to Albuquerque, NM in the 50's. He was a graduate of Sandia High School where he lettered in band. He then attended UNM where he also played in the band and got his degree in History.
Dave served in the US Army in Vietnam.
Dave worked for UPS as a driver in Albuquerque, New Mexico and then worked for FedEx. He lived in Phoenix Arizona for a time and then moved to Houston Texas although he planned to make a home in Austin Texas.
