Mrs. Grace G. Franklin, 71, of Letts,
died at 7 p.m. Saturday at Muscatine
General Hospital.
She was born April 13, 1889, in
Louisa county, the daughter of Thomas
Erwin and Lucy Ann Eierman Erwin, and
had lived most of her life in Louisa
county.
She was married Jul 20, 1913 to Ernest
R. Morgan and was married March 27,
1933 to Harold Franklin at Monmouth,
Ill.
Survivors include her husband Harold
Franklin of Letts; two sons Ernest R.
Morgan of Letts and Ralph A. Morgan
of Moscow; one brother, Earel Erwin
of Muscatine; 10 grandchildren, and
two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, one son and two sisters.
