Elmore Alexander Jr., Age 60, was born November 7, 1951 to the late Willie B. Alexander and Elmore Alexander Sr. in Memphis, TN. He was proceeded in death by maternal grandparents, Robert and Mandy Ward. Elmore confessed Christ at an early age and was a honorable member at Cornerstone M.B. Church in Gary. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College. He was currently employed by Westville Correctional Facility in Westville, IN. Elmore leaves to cherish his memories five sisters, Diane (Pastor Jacob) Kindred, Danita Warmack, Melinda (Don) Wade, Juanita (Wayne) Estes, Arnetta (Davalle) Byrd; one brother, Stephen (Bettye) Greer; two aunts, Mercy D. (Timothy) Smith and Ella Wee Riley; best friend, Donald Bowens and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation Friday November 2, 2012 from 2:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral Saturday November 3, 2012 at 1:00PM all services at Corner M.B Church 3949 Massachusetts St. Gary, IN, Rev. Chris Lyons Pastor. Officiating Pastor Lillie B. Swindle of the Deliverance Temple Restoration Church Memphis, TN. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
