Kenneth E. Verdegem, 74, Bermuda Dunes, Calif., formerly of Moline, died Oct. 19 in a nursing home in Indio, Calif.
Private services were held. The body has been cremated.
Fitzhagen Funeral Home, Indio, was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Verdegem was born July 4, 1913 in Rockford. He married Shirley Burson in 1950 in California.
Before moving from this area, he was employed at Herman Nelson and Eagle Signal companies in Moline. Survivors include the widow; a son, Tom, San Dimas, Calif.; a daughter, Terri Verdegem, California; two granddaughters; a brother, Clifford Verdegem, Rock Island, a sister, Ethel Cowan, Kearns, Utah; stepsisters, Patricia Jones, Moline, and Irene Braden, Davenport; and stepbrothers, Harry Vershaw, Silvis, and Peter Vershaw, Sun City Center, Fla.
