Her parents Joseph Corbey and Mary Little both immigrated from Montreal, Quebec, Canada to New York State and later in about 1855-56-57 to Elgin, Kane, Illinois

Emma Rose then moved to Ogden, Utah in 1918 from illinois as did her married son Frank Scott and her married daughter Mabel Scott Snyder and their families.

Emma Scott Rose and her daughter Mabel Snyder and son-in-law Adam Snyder Sr were all murdered in Ogden, Utah in 1936. A service for all three was held in Ogden by the LDS church.

She is survived by her son Frank (Nellie) Scott Ogden, Utah, and by four grandchildren, and five Great-grandchildren.


A joint burial for all three was on July 3, 1936 In the Mt. Ogden Memorial Park now Aultorest
