Mabel Scott was born in Illinois in 1881. She was the daughter of Emma Corbey and Santie Scott. She had two siblings Frank Scott and Emma Scott.

Mabel Scott married Adam Snyder Sr. In abt 1905 and had two children named Adam Snyder Jr. born 1907 and Grace Snyder born 1911 both born in Illinois.

Mabel and Adam and their children left Illinois and settled in Ogden, Utah in about 1918 as Adam was employed by the railroad. Adam Jr and Grace both grew up there and married starting their families.

In June 1936 Mabel Snyder and her husband Adam Snyder Sr. were victims of a triple murder in Ogden, Utah.

She and her husband are buried in Mt. Ogden Memorial Park /Aultorest Memorial Park Ogden, Utah
