March 21, 2002, beloved husband of Norma B. (nee Brunner) Fick; dearest father of Bonnie (William) Holdren and Barbara Fick; dear grandfather of Laura (Matthew), Heather, Mark (Christina) and Erin. Family will be present on Monday 2-4 and 7-8:30 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (corner of Hopkins Rd.) where funeral services will follow at 8:30 PM. Friends invited. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made to the Kenmore Mercy Building Fund.

CLARIFICATION:
Dr. Fick was born Edward H. Kowsky to Albert H. J. and Pauline A. Zimmerman Kowsky. At some point after the untimely death of his young Mother, Edward went to live with his older sister Pauline Helene and her husband Raymond John Fick. It is not known by this writer if an adoption actually took place, but Edward assumed the Fick surname and carried it the rest of his life.
